there has been an earthquake indonesia. reeling from an earlier jolt that killed more than 400 people and caused widespread destruction. The 6.8 magnitude quake hit South Sumatra about 89 miles from Bengkulu. This was a complete shock to me because my teacher informed me that a averge earthquake is 4.0

I agree, I think it is really weird that a 6.8 magnitude earthquake hit, because i also learned it is even a high percentage when its only 4.0 earthquake. This is probably one of the highest percentage earthquakes ever.
